I was there towards the end of the season last year and definitely agree it has gotten to a point where it’s dated in areas and needs work.
My issue though is mainly that I see other clubs of our size globally preserving their history and doing the hard work of saving the ground. It would definitely be expensive but considering our revenue we could afford it. It would just require the Glazers to spend some of their own money
it’s romanticism but knowing that we’ll be playing on new ground that Ferguson never stood or Charlton never saw really doesn’t sit right with me. When you compare the atmosphere of the Emirates to the Highbury it’s not even close imo. We’re going to lose a significant part of our soul leaving Old Trafford and I’m worried we’ll become further unrecognizable in the coming years
At least the Glazers get their Disneyland I suppose..
Agree with almost everything you said, but there’s just no current reality where we renovate OT. Even the Qataris weren’t planning on renovating it, the mess is too big.

I hear that and understand but when looking at the amount of revenue we’re STILL able to bring in despite our current state and owners not spending any money of their own in the last two decades I’m surprised we can’t find a way. We’re throwing away so much by leaving Old Trafford
Club revenue 2024:

While they’re changing it up can we please sell better drinks than Carling, cheap wine, and knockoff strongbow?

The things id do for having Kvara in our team man, what a player
they stole him for Napoli, no idea how arsenal and liverpool and Chelsea weren't in on him. top 5 player itw for me.
I would say us too, but we no longer have room in our side for inside forwards, just wing backs -_-

Completely agree
Ratcliffe got asked about things that make United, well United and for me that's a huge part of it
The theatre of dreams, it's something you can't put into words going up the steps when you first see the pitch
A soulless, memory less bowl has never had any appeal to me
It's been renovated a number of times and we've still played there while it was going on

elephant in the room for me is how are we paying for this?
we can’t even sign a player without selling one

We get written about more than any club in the world so it’s hard to say how true any of that is
UK taxpayers gonna pay for it

I love you Darwin
Can’t believe they’ve been given 45000 pens this season and still lose in a shootout

F*** knows what he was doing at Wolves barely even getting game time for a season
liverpools b**** ass knocked out of the cup love to see it
Ppl are not that tuned in to ligue 1
But if you paid attention, PSG has been on a generational run
Since October 2024 they only have 2 losses in all comps
Dembele been amazing and they play great football
