If Ruben goes I think berrada and co should be fired too btw.
I think so too. Ruben wanted a midfielder but instead got three attackers lmao

They must’ve thought this would prevent another manager-run transfer fiasco. But ignoring the manager’s demands entirely is not doing him any favors
United is like a guy making the wrong choice at every turn consistently for a decade

bruh what? This some bs, he always wanted attackers man. Just because he didn't get his 120m Baleba doesnt mean he wasn't backed. You really think 1 midfielder will turn this team around

Amorim fans cope on levels never seen before
also lmao at who he did win against

I don’t see Ineos getting rid of him yet so Amorim needs to walk now. International break next week so perfect time to get someone in
Wait what is this? Is this really him?
I get the noise about the manager obviously but we need to hound players the same way
There's absolutely no chance Onana, Dalot etc should ever play for us again

It’s on the players but ultimately it’s on the manager to pick the players, motivate them and have them playing their best, I don’t believe anyone threw Ruben under the bus on purpose, the environment at United is still so toxic that it’s inevitable to have disastrous performances like these, it feels like at any any time we’re at risk of a performance like this where no matter the opponent we find an embarrassing way to lose, and it’s been that way for 5 years
You can’t blame that on system or specific players when it’s the same system and players that work well on certain occasions, the tactics people will have you believe everything is tactics 24/7 but someone like Roy Keane would rightfully point out these are Premier League professionals and no matter the system you beat League 2
I don’t know the answer but it’s hard for managers to stay after results like that, I always want to stick it out with a manager until the noise is too loud, a big response vs Burnley is required, somethings gonna change in the international break it seems

Yeah it's systematic, beyond a manager
He's not getting it right but does anyone who comes in have the platform to get it right

I think in the long run the pre season changes will lead to positive results but I feel like Ruben will go and won’t enjoy the benefits, I don’t think the system is the specific problem, if we played 4231 or 433 a result like last night could easily still happen

Yeah agree. INEOS have failed us massively in this window imo
