He’s done
He's basically said the players don't want him there anymore is what I've taken from that
I’m still not over the fact that sesko kicked 10th. That’s our 80M #9???
Don’t click on this
Money talks. Same reason players will always join us over spurs Newcastle etc
true. also I imagine for many of these coaches it’s a dream come true, they probably grew up watching united.
those are certainly the pros but still after seeing ten hag & amorim you’d have to be a bit of a madman and have the balls to leave their comfortable positions and unfinished work for such mess.
i said unfinished work but wait tbf glasner & howe both won trophies last season so actually it’s kinda a finished work already, it’s not like they can achieve much more there (maybe newcastle can compete one day with the saudi backing but idk nobody wants to go to that s***hole). they will be probably looking to move on soon, especially howe now I think. if guehi leaves too and glasner doesn’t get enough of new signings this week i could see him being a bit pissed off too.
so these two are a possibility imo, nagelsmann is bs though unless he’d have the desire to go back into club football already - doesn’t seem that way, he has an unfinished job with germany and leaving now before the world cup would be very anticlimactic from him i think.

I heard the same too. Damn.
The ITV interview they ask about changing the system and he says it doesn't matter - you could play 3/4/5 defenders etc
He's right, the lack of basic fight in this team that we've seen and continue to see for years now is just insanity
save us Gareth...
As bad as this is
I’ll never NEVER say i want southgate as our manager

he's a dogshit coach but i genuinely think he could get us to 50 points with a lot of 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins just by playing the worst, most boring football ever seen.
Hearing this from a 4th division manager. F*** Mars. My head is on some rock in the Andromeda.
Getting lil bro’d by Grimsby
Interesting.
If they won't fully buy in he walks and I think he's saying exactly that again here
We know he's told the board a number of times if you aren't properly invested I'm outta here which I admire
They'll do the same to the next guy and the one after that as well. Just so f***ed

I feel like in the past the "it's the players" narrative that actually made sense. Tonight... I just can't buy it. The squad was mostly full of players who have joined the team within the last calendar year lmfaooo

They spent 200 mill this summer
last sentence sums it up, every player is drowning out there and nearly a year in we create no chances - that's squarely on the manager. even if he believes in the system he knows he doesn't have the players to execute it so he's sabotaging the club by sticking to it

that's what I think - I don't understand why people are twisting it saying the players should be able to just play better, it's not like Ole days where he was letting them take free reign. Some of these players really look like they are playing with a hand behind their back because of strict instructions!
If Ruben goes I think berrada and co should be fired too btw.
saw his system... signed 3 attackers & no midfielders... crazy
saw the gk situation (don't forget what Onana did UCL group stages his first f***ing season, no improvements since then) and have no GK replacements ready...
terrible short term squad building
There’s obviously a limit to how bad we can be before the board will be forced to make a move, but I honestly feel that if Ruben leaves before the end of the season, it’s gonna be on him.
To avoid the exact same situation we were in 10 months ago, and all of the ridicule and embarrassment that would come along with that, the club would be fine with riding out mediocrity until May.

No it does make sense. Why are they running less and losing multiple duels against Grimsby?
It's tactics of course but it'd also just down to personal effort. The players just didn't give a f*** all game

Mediocrity would be a step up. They just lost to grimsby!
