Yeah after Kagawa I stopped getting excited over bundesliga players.
In fairness, Kagawa not succeeding was hardly his fault.
Sir Alex was phasing out Rooney and bringing him in, when Moyes decided to do the opposite and force Kagawa out on the left wing.
I'm very confident Sancho is gonna be brilliant. Bundesliga or not, his stats have been immense. Its absurd Southgate has given him f*** all minutes.

Remember the last right winger we signed from Dortmund, who also had incredible numbers in the Bundesliga
We being linked to Goretzka 🤔
Didnt realise he had just one year left on his contract. Always figured he was just gonna be a Bayern for life type.
And for those who are hesitant on Sancho because of Bundesliga, note that he has had three exceptional seasons in a row now, from the age of 18 in a completely new environment, under 4 different managers. Also in a squad that has undergone a ton of fluctuation.
One of the most exciting signings we've made in a long time imo. Buying established talent like Bruno and Pogba is always an event, but nothing beats snapping up the best youngsters in the world.
Cavani you better give him #7
haaland soon
Need a RWB to give sancho some overlapping runs
I’m like 90% sure that by the end of the season Sancho will be LW and Greenwood/Rashford will be battling for the RW spot.
Cavani
Sancho — Fernandes — Greenwood
Will end up our best front 4, imo.

Rashford has been proven to be useless on the right tho. Why not play Sancho there?

Can’t see Ole going back to rashford on the right considering he’s far better on the left. I think rash starts on the left once he’s back from shoulder surgery but Sancho will be left at the beginning of season.
Think Greenwood will rotate on the right with Sancho and have the odd games at CF
Rashford will start on the left, and Sancho out on the right. But Sancho is a superior player and stronger players get priority. Sancho will take the LW spot from Rashford as we get deeper into the season, who’ll then have to battle with Greenwood for the right wing. That is my hypothesis.
We’ll see if I’m right come this next time year!

Don’t think Ole will ever sacrifice Rashford when he can just play Sancho on the right. If Sancho is that much better on the left, then why would we even sign him when we have Marcus and Martial for that position? No way we finally sign a proper right winger and we want to play him on the left

Yeah this makes no sense. He's been bought for the right wing. Greenwood will just play more games up top, Rashford will play on the left.
He’s not a ‘proper right winger’, he’s a playmaking winger who plays either side. He’s very good on the right, sure, but he’s even better on the left. His game time for Dortmund is split between the two positions. 70 games on the right, 55 on the left.
“Why did we sign him then” — because he’s one of the best wingers in world football.
Again, as I’ve said, we’ll see if I’m correct on this later in the season. I appreciate this is seen as a bit of a hot-take as everyone’s priority has been to get a RW since about 2013, but I’m fairly confident on my assertion here.
