Fanbase got to cool it with the victory laps. I'm very optimistic about the season with a few more signings but what the f*** is this
Ole pulling the strings
From this to now
Managers turning down Thiago, Kroos, Mane, Herrera (a season prior) all dont help either tbf.

Dark days fam
The hype we are getting this season. Never ends well for us when we are hyped
It's never ended well full stop over the last 8 years. Plus most of the times United have splashed in the transfer window were after finishing between 4th and 7th. Obviously it needs to translate to the pitch but definitely more reason to be optimistic now imo
Is Goretzka what we even need tho I don’t watch any team outside of United really.
We need a Bayern expert in here
Can't believe we actually pulled off varane, hopefully this means tuanzebe also gets a good loan spell getting first team action rather than sporadic games here and there
Really good start to the window. The focus for now should be selling where we can. Those funds should propel a DM. Trippier should be our fourth (and most likely final) signing.
Just looking at the side, I’d say any of these are ready to go if the price is right:
——
Jones - Free.
Dalot — Most likely a loan back to Milan. Get them paying a £3-5m loan fee and an obligation for £10-12m at the end of the season or something. Near enough break even.
Tuanzebe — Loan for a season. Hopefully he does well enough to earn a permanent transfer the season after, or he comes back as third choice.
Bailly — New contract so unlikely, but I’d happily sell now. £10m or so.
Williams — Loan for now to raise his price for next season.
Pogba — PSG or bust, really. Ideally we can get around £40-50m for him as he’s definitely not signing an extension.
Lingard — West Ham need to pull their finger out and give us the £20m or so he's definitely worth.
Pereira — Might have to give this boy away. God knows who wants him.
Matic — £5m or so to an Italian side. Somebody must want him. His legs might be gone but he can still play with the ball at a slower pace.
EDIT: I’d personally add James and van De Beek on the list (and think they’d sell a lot easier than a lot of the players above, but I reckon they’ve got another season left here at least)

Mou could take Matic at Roma
Ethan Laird has to get an injury at the worst time
really wanted him involved for preseason news him to get one more successful loan to championship side.

Nice nice makes me happy makes me smile (could mean nothing but still makes me smile)
