leicester and Chelsea are lost in the sauce. even if city ban is overturned tmrw (which I doubt it will be), we're going third with a win against Southampton.

    too easy so far

Who do you guys think we should sign this transfer window?

Not sure who said it the other day but I feel like splashing for Grealish/Maddison at the price they are just for them to not be in the starting 11 seems like a bit of a waste.

Sancho has potential but kind of reeks of a marquee signing (a la Pogba, Di Maria) as opposed to part of some long-term rebuilding plan.

We def need more solid options in defense - a left back and a CB to start with AWB and Maguire, and maybe then a midfielder to give us more depth but I'm intrigued as to who they go after

sancho is a must imo, insane numbers, english, only 20, fills our weakest position, no competition for him this summer - would be a massive f*** up if we missed out

think we do need a CB and depth for bruno or else we're back relying on lingard/andreas for creativity. grealish/vdb would be ideal

think we'll wait on other positions like LB, ST, and DM until next year.

I think this is pretty realistic.

    Bring in Sancho

    Replace Lingard with Grealish

Clear more deadweight ie Sanchez, Rojo, Jones

2-3 signings and were in with a shout next season

Y’all are playing fifa or FM above ^

Jack doesn’t make sense considering the prices and wages. Sancho doesn’t make sense anymore either considering how far greenwood has come along our front 3 is settled.

Consensus is a left back would be great. Centre back would be nice too but Ole is committed to give Lindelof a shot for next season at least. Don’t think we will sign a mid nor do we need. Fred Mctom Pogba Matic is enough and Gardner is close to first team ready too.

grealish might be a stretch (though if villa go down he might be cheaper and I can't imagine his wages are very high)

greenwood is 18 and a natural ST (and I doubt he'll be as productive over an entire season). i'm taking 2 years of insane productivity from sancho over ~10 games of greenwood.

    garner needs a loan.

Agree with this except Grealish unless we can get him for a reasonable price

  • Jul 12, 2020

Wouldn't mind off-loading a few people to Villa for Grealish if it means we don't spend as much on him

  • Jul 12, 2020

I'd love to see what our attack is like with Sancho if we do get him, just hope he doesn't get weighed down by the hype and the price tag like Pogba has

this club wasn't built on buying 100 million wingers to fill the space of the most exciting Englishmen since Wayne Rooney burst onto the scene for Everton.

sancho wont happen and shouldn't happen. it would be disgusting if it did. our academy actually means something - buying sancho would throw everything off.

Our squad depth is thin as hell, look at how we've played when either Rashford or Martial were out earlier on the season.

agreed, just sancho isnt the right piece for the jigsaw. grealish maybe if the wages and transfer fee are right. otherwise it has to be someone that is comfortable with a squad role (+ would need lingard to f*** off)
