I think ultimately this squad right now requires a tactician first, man manager second. They need to develop the understanding on the pitch that comes from structured drills and thorough gameplans/systems.

I have some lingering doubts over how Zidane would fare considering our squad's lack of preexisting intelligence and game management skills. Even though that Madrid side was in fairly rough shape when he went in for his second stint there, the core of that side was still experienced winners. But tbf the guys done incredible so it feels weird to toss any criticism his way regarding tactical astuteness.

Finally, i'd always be a little wary that his head's gonna get turned by Madrid or the France jobs. But I guess that doesnt matter if he does deliver trophies in the short term.
