GIO GIOIf you regulate and stop it here in the united states you will just be giving that power to companies in other countries that will not have the same regulations. I would rather we have that power here and not give up that lead. We are on a path to superintelligence, which could very well give other governments power we can't yet conceptualize
Unless you can get some sort of global international treaty to put a pause on this, which in it's current state, you won't get, this just feels like virtual signaling and a signal they're annoyed they're falling behind
I'm not saying we should just stop all progress
These other countries u speak of, they don't have the development capacity of America. Even if we slow down they depend on us for innovation. Literally all the best scientists world wide come to America to learn this s***
