My few thoughts though. I do like the tracks and I think it's a nice evolution.

The one thing that I'm iffy about is how they count the travel to the track as a lap so when you finally to the actual track it's usually only one lap. I wish it was at least 2 or the standard three.

Nah it's cute so far. Hardly even explored the world yet.

I was never really doing snaking techs, but I'm sure people will find some cool tech.

There is a lot of big open areas and lots of off beaten path shortcuts that are easy to moss your first time.

this is easily the best Mario Kart game

like i can’t even believe we were stuck playing MK8D for almost a decade while they were working on this

and Knockout mode is f***ing incredible it’s more fun online than standard races

they hit the perfect balance between skill and luck this time and the items are much more fair

Free roam would be so goat if we could use our nintendo membership to play nintendo music player as in game radio.

Online is a s*** show but it works so much better than 8. Theres no weird lag.

God damn the knockout tour is fabulous only thing I don’t like is you don’t really know when it ends and it feels abrupt.

Oh yea knockout tour is the s***. I've literally only played one game. Really makes the open world aspect shine.

Thats not even the problem in this case. Nintendo didnt send switch 2s and Mario kart world codes to reviewers until the day before launch. How can there be reviews a day after for such a game? What even is being reviewed in such a short amount of time

i wish there was an option to play the tracks the traditional way online, as far i know i don’t think you can? Really weird decision imo

as it is i think most of my time will be spent playing Knockout it’s the best thing they ever introduced in these games
