This looks bad, the courses look unbelievably boring, it really seems like they were inspired by Mario Kart: Tour, just big long expanses of uninteresting road that are way too wide so they can accommodate 24 players, this is such a step down from the rest of the series in terms of track design IMO
You can get boost from grinding on railings, and I honestly think that design decision came from the fact that there are barely any TURNS in these tracks, look at the mini-map! It's all to fit with the world immersion 'drive to the next course' gimmick, because looping around a single track would prevent linear progress in that way, but it massively hurts the experience of playing, there just aren't as many opportunities to drift around corners because so much of it is a straight line, this is crazy disappointing

It seems like Nintendo hasn’t revealed everything for MKW yet. I’m sure we’ll know more with that MKW Direct next week
And your reply has me wondering, will we get non-Mario characters in World? Will they be apart of the base game or DLC?
Really interesting to think about cus it sucks to lose the Inkling Kids and Zelda and Villager
