Looking forward to this, haven't played a Mario & Luigi RPG in mad long. Last one I played was Bowser's Inside Story, never got around to the remake on 3DS and the other 3DS game

load times into battle are ass and i am not a fan of how loose the timing is for the actual attacks -- too babyfied. they should've made the input window tighter

but i'm really impressed by a lot of it. the writing is good. the pacing is really really good. i'm a few hours in and i got no f\*\*\*in clue what the hell is going on really. normally that might be bad but idk i like how mysterious and new this world is. it's a slow start. and that slow start might suck on repeat playthroughs several years in the future. but right now this is really refreshing

It’s goated. I’m loving this story. Picked this back up yesterday after finishing midterms n it’s getting better still. You get set in a rhythm n it throws a surprise at you. It’s been a while since Mario has had any kind of engaging plot imo

Mario rpgs vary not every fan likes every single one. Read the reviews and find what they have contention with and whether that will or won’t concern you. Review scores are pointless if you don’t know why they gave it that score

Even the infamous ruby and sapphire review kinda makes sense to me cuz although I like the originals I do agree that they did have too much water areas even then

I beat this last nite. Ign is hella dumb this is top 2 Mario and Luigi game it might just be my favorite. The finale of this game is insane and probably my favorite out of any of this series’ games if only they had our original composer girl this would be a 20/10
