I beat this last nite. Ign is hella dumb this is top 2 Mario and Luigi game it might just be my favorite. The finale of this game is insane and probably my favorite out of any of this series’ games
if only they had our original composer girl this would be a 20/10
I cannot wait man!

I’m playing the 3DS version rn
Played the OG all the time as a kid
on top of copping echoes of wisdom, also grabbed this!! I’m eating in 2025 with some good Nintendo games
after a 50 hour play-through, I’ve finally beaten this game! For the first M&L game on the switch, I’m extremely impressed. The beginning of the game was definitely a bit of a slog, and it deterred me a bit from really getting into the story, but once it hit the second half, I was locked in till the end. The animations in this game were incredible and some of the most expressive of the series. In my opinion, this also had some of the best combat of the series, and it always kept me engaged. The story was honestly one of the better one of the series, especially with the finale being a highlight. Lastly, the music was pretty serviceable with nothing spectacular (I miss Yoko Shimomura).
Overall, I highly recommend this game and I really hope the M&L series continues on the switch going forward. It sold pretty well and being in a Mario RPG renaissance, I see a bright future.
