Lol I didn't expect this kind of feedback on it. Sorry I don't know about movie actors backgrounds. You can just not look at the screen if it bothers you that much☠️

it's not your fault. race relations in America are worse than they've been in modern history (like probably since the 60's). and an entire generation of people grew up on tumblr and live as if they get a prize for bringing up and not letting go of negative things from peoples' pasts

nah i've actually changed my mind on this from seeing all the discussion on this site, particularly from @JGOGang

on the one hand, I've seen personally how the idea that people can't change helps to make sure that criminals can't get good jobs and can't successfully re-enter society. but on the other hand, a bunch of 12 year olds on a drake message board said that people in fact cannot change and that we should always judge people by the worst thing they've ever done, even if they were 15 or 17 when they did it. so I'm sold. you guys did it. you fixed society. no one should ever be forgiven for anything

no one is saying no one should be forgiven for anything, but comparing racism to pedophilia to a woman hitting a man for cheatin on her sister makes no sense.

he didnt even serve prison time for his hate crimes, so what youre saying makes no sense

you are in the subreddit of a guy who signed a human trafficker and then brought him on stage for a Billboard Awards performance and then 4 years later brought him on stage to accept the artist of the decade award

I suggest you find an artist who has never done anything wrong and who doesn't associate with anyone who has ever done anything wrong and then you can get that giant stick out of your ass and support that artist

baka served prison time you absolute goof,

and not once did i say i support baka weirdo

he was 15 and 17. I don't really care to have this convo. Obama literally gave a eulogy for a former KKK member. the entire world except for internet weirdos understands that no one is permanently reduced to their worst moment and people grow and change and forgiveness is a positive thing

if you want to constantly beat dead horses and judge people for their pasts, that's on you and your psyche and your perfect life

find me some Vietnamese men he's beat up since 1988. if you can't then maybe he doesn't do that anymore? the year Drake was born, a 15 year old Mark Wahlberg was chasing black men, throwing rocks at them and calling them the n word. today, Mark is begging a black man to be on his album and we haven't heard of any black people he's chased and called the n word since

lol how is it that the "abolish police" and "abolish prisons" generation is mad that people don't go to prison for long enough lol

if you want tougher sentencing laws then just say that. i'm sure there are "tough on crime" candidates you can vote for in your local elections

he got convicted for felony assault and did 45 days. 17 year olds do get charged as adults but usually for s*** like homicide

no way you are this dense its actually so f***ing sad.

i never once said abolish the police or abolish prisons stop sayin random s***

da issue is dat this man fr commited horrific hate crimes, didnt get punished for it at all, and now that he's rich and completely comfortable in life you believe him saying, "im sorry for my actions im changed" means that he should be forgiven ?

not because he said “I’m sorry, I changed” but because he apologized and then actually did change. if he hasn’t done it in decades then I’m pretty sure he stopped

you didn’t say abolish police or abolish prisons, but the type of people who want to constantly bring up old s*** also tend to be “progressive.” but sorry for assuming

also no one has to forgive him. miserable people can continue to be upset

In June 1986, then-15-year-old Wahlberg and three friends chased after three black children while yelling "Kill the n gger, kill the n gger" and throwing rocks at them

Another racially-charged incident occurred in April 1988. The then-17-year-old Wahlberg assaulted a middle-aged Vietnamese-American man on the street, calling him a "Vietnam f***ing s***" and knocking him unconscious with a large wooden stick. Wahlberg attacked a second Vietnamese-American man later the same day, punching him in the eye.

One individual attacked by Wahlberg when they were a child opposed the pardon, saying: "a racist will always be a racist." Judith Beals, who had been the prosecutor in some of the cases, argued that "Wahlberg has never acknowledged the racial nature of his crimes"
