An enraged teenager making a very bad mistake most of the time doesn’t correlate with what kind of heart they may have in the long run does it mean they won’t change.

It wasn't a mistake. He actively intended to commit both incidents

By that logic should we not rehabilitate criminals or those who in the moment intended to rob a bank?

  • Vento Aureo

What's up with you and these weird ass false equivalencies?

How is thinking that Suge got Pac killed equal to a 15 year old committing attempted murder multiple times due to their victim's race Did you finish high school?

Bro is on dog food man

  • I hope people remember that when someone dies, they literally can’t come back. Not you, not your moms, not your dad, not your girl and not your sister. Dude killed a man idc what he does nowadays he’s still a murderer and a bad person in my eyes

“I hope you’re not black speaking like this”

Free thought and the ability to have a change of heart and forgive people is a very powerful superpower to have. With that logic, we shouldn’t rehabilitate people or just say stuff like “black people must vote one way or no way” that is utterly ridiculous, I’ve seen changes in some of the worst possible people, from a confederate that got all of his tattoos removed, to a murderer. Have some perspective on things.

I didn't read your response but sure LOL

It should have but niggas wanna forgive rapists, racists, and women beaters and s***.

Just wait until we start white people for supporting the Klan or some s*** lol

lol what are you talking about? do you have any grasp of American history? Obama gave a eulogy for a former KKK member:obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/blog/2010/06/28/president-obama-loss-senator-robert-byrd-a-voice-principle-and-reason

Precisely because we aren't defined by the worst things we've done

also the Democrat governor of Virginia had pics come out of him in blackface next to someone in a KKK hood (as a costume) guess who is still governor and who black voters supported

if u won't take it from me, take it from Obama's eulogy of that KKK member: “We know there are things he said and things he did that he came to regret,” Obama said. “I remember talking about that the first time I visited with him. He said: ‘There are things I regretted in my youth; you may – you may know that.’ And I said: None of us are absent some regrets, senator. That's why we enjoy and seek the grace of God.”

You're using the term "free thought" and you expect to be taken seriously?

    Please stop

lol I hope you're not black speaking as if America leaning towards being more pro-punishment and less pro-forgiveness is gonna end with anything but more black people in prison and denied employment opportunities

I'm pretty passionate about helping criminals re-enter society and this attitude just makes that harder

people believe and do dumb s*** at 15 and 17. I would rather forgive them. but if you want to take out a full page ad in the NYT calling them guilty and saying they should pay for it for the rest of their lives like Trump, then go ahead

as for me, I want better for people who have made mistakes

Same logic applies to democrats. Benghazi, Biden’s crime bill, etc. terrible mistakes in hindsight but maybe at heart they aren’t all that bad. Only god’s place to judge.

right. ultimately, people who are anti forgiveness are the vast majority. they're just the loudest. it's unfortunate because they don't realize how dumb they are and how much that attitude doesn't help black people at all

it's just 80's / 90's tough on crime bullshit but packaged as positive for whatever reason
