Nah I don’t really buy what he’s saying because it really is that simple to make a cool vampire slaying film. Blade 3 wasn’t bad because it’s “complicated” to make a blade film. This is disproved by the first 2 being great. Blade 3 is just a s***ty, uninspired work. The behind the scenes was a chaotic mess and nobody wanted to be there.

Marvel studios are just too risk-averse to get a cool director with an actual vision behind the project (didn’t Chad stahelski want to direct blade?) and having a hard time finding talent in the writing department. The fact that they even thought that a torch passing story would be a good option for f***ing BLADE speaks volumes about where they are as a studio. They need to fire most of their writers and hire some real talent badly

I think the problem is Ali wanting this to be his black panther. I read somewhere he said this. Its impossible to do that cuz blade doesnt really scream black excellence ( which is prob why they wanted it set in the past and the daughter thing ) and also black ppl like myself are kinda over that era that made BP1 a success. S*** we didnt even pop out for BP2 like that and that was 2 years ago

No one watched Blade the series because it didn’t have Snipes and it claimed it was a continuation. That s*** was also on MTV.
