I’m saying!!!! We all want more regular, NYC based spidey movies with him in college.
I want him in an apartment with a hacked police officer radio and he’s stopping crimes and working at the bugle (his awkward naive comedy with JK Simmons roasting him is gonna be even better than the Tobey/JJ scenes) and then a villain like kingpin or kraven or venom or lizard
But it doesn’t really seem like it makes business sense from Sony to go make a smaller true solo spidey movie after this.
We want that but I feel like execs don’t find that enticing
Plus, they need to somehow have Tom meeting MCU versions of Norman, Doc Ock feel natural and tense despite him maybe knowing they eventually become villains?
Like he’s gonna meet mcu dr octavius and remember that name? How’s it gonna work

ThomForkKinda glad that Goblin's supposed to kill someone big in this. He's an entire new kind of beast when compared to the aliens/"bad guys" Holland is used to.
Goblin isn't a normal MCU villain and is one of the most ruthless villains in Marvel. He deserves to really wreck some s*** up to make it personal for Holland.

this giving me hella spiderman ps4 vibes tbh and was the most compelling spiderman story i’ve ever witnessed. Hot take ik
i just really loved everything it touched on peters endeavors, his personality was resonating, his conflicts made sense, relationships with other characters were drawn out and the biggest benefit of it being an open world video game… New york felt alive and peter definitely made new york feel like his city to conquer. insomniacs spiderman is a treasure

Exactly what you said - he already knows that Norman Osborn is the Green Goblin, that Otto is Doc Ock, etc, etc
So are those stories (MCU Edition) now ruined?
