Given the spell to make the world forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man doesn’t work at all, I’m fully on board with believing Peter asks Strange to make the world forget the existence of Peter Parker all together after everything that happens in the story
Damn that would be messed up
Nah spidey college trilogy about to be crazy.
Bring on Kingpin Venom and Scorpion
Make it a more grounded movie
Make the first one scorpion, the second one venom, and kingpin the third with him and DD teaming up

Thats kinda horrible though
Really hope Tobey and Andrew aren’t only in the final act and we get to know a little about them and how their series ended
I hope they aren't in it to have Tom be fleshed out properly in this already stuffed ass movie
I’m 90% sure everyone will still know Spider-Man, they just won’t know it’s Peter anymore thus severing a lot of his ties to people in the movies. He can finally be an independent Spider-Man
As far as we know the first spell only doesn’t work because of Peters interference. Strange should be able to do the spell correctly by the end
Thats kinda horrible though
Yeah but horrible might be the point. Besides the major leaks specifically stating that’s the ending, such a spell makes sense because:
Kinda glad that Goblin's supposed to kill someone big in this. He's an entire new kind of beast when compared to the aliens/"bad guys" Holland is used to.
Goblin isn't a normal MCU villain and is one of the most ruthless villains in Marvel. He deserves to really wreck some s*** up to make it personal for Holland.

Exactly.
Holland's never fought someone like him, so I want him to wreak havoc.
The issue with having your arch enemy in the first movie is that they usually die and don't have time to feel like the climactic battle of the character. Wanna see Dafoe get that chance outside of an origin film.
Rewatched the trailer. When Strange says “they’re starting to come through and I can’t stop em” it’s ofc cut to seem like the same moment as Strange on the Statue of Liberty. But that quote is from early in the film when Strange does the spell, and the Statue of Liberty shot is from when they attempt to send the villains back using the cube

Is the last shot at the statue of liberty the multiverse opening from Loki or what?
I didn't really caught that part

I think Spidey and Strange open the multiverse with the cube to send the villains back, a reversal of the original spell. Spidey is swinging with it in the final battle

Yoooo
So I just saw someone in the main thread post about Ned being Hobgoblin in the comics and it got me thinking..
What if thats an effect of never knowing Peter Parker?

Nah, what if Peter had to choose one person to save
...and he opted to not save Ned but Ned still survived
He then turns to hate Peter and becomes the Hobgoblin

When Norman forces Peter to choose between Happy and Ned, Peter chooses Happy because he's his last connection to Tony AND Aunt May...and Norman kills Happy anyway
