Everybody loves Ripley and Leia and many other strong women because they had great characterization with amazing performances in iconic films. I don't hate on Brie and her movie grew on me a little bit but she's no Ripley or Leia and her movie is no Alien.

Her movie butt. But in regards to comic adaption she’s a perfect Captain Marvel

I've read alot comics with her and Danvers is a g. I'd say she's not bad definitely not perfect. Weakness of her movie and the dialogue stopped her from being a classic.

Mandalorian is the only exception. But even that isn’t holding a candle to ST or The Boys.

Not sure what people are expecting. Each Marvel show has advanced the story. WV, Loki, What If?, Hawkeye and Moon Knight were all enjoyable to me

It is. I don’t watch it. But it’s still clear it’s like a top 5 tv show of this decade. Just was using it to highlight how much other platforms are succeeding with their series.

The only two shows I’ve actually watched front to back in recent months were Moon Knight, Kenobi, and The Boys. Was disappointed with Moon Knight and Kenobi so my hate for Disney and Marvel have reached new depths

my only real issue with the marvel series' has been a lack of latinx representation. We've had great/fun properties now with entire black, east asian and pakistani casts, yet the only latin hero we've seen on screen is a super-powered alien from another dimension named america
