sir shrimpyI think they hinted at that earlier in the season, and it would kinda make sense. Captain Marvel was part of the team that recruited Shang-Chi, so maybe she was researching the power of the Ten Rings and somehow triggered that portal switch thing?

Mutants are born with powers while Inhumans need to be exposed to Terrigen Crystals/Mist to gain theirs

Captain Marvel is partially Kree since she has Kree blood
Shang-Chi is a regular ass guy who gets powers from the Ten Rings (which may also be Kree tech based on some assumptions I have)

well the Inhumans were created by the Kree in the first place, so the Bangle being Kree technology & giving Kamala her powers actually makes sense
