the timeline table is really cool & clearly had a lot of effort put into it, but it’s also conceptually a bit tricky, since it’s not the Marvel Cinematic Universe you have there, but the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse

i like the idea, but i feel like it would make more sense to keep franchises that take place in the same universes together, i.e. the X-Men movies are watched uninterrupted, the Raimi trilogy is watched together, the Sony Spider-Man-adjacent universe is watched together (maybe watched after Loki s1, since it does become relevant in NWH’s post credits)

but since the Sony movies are colliding with MCU Spidey now, idk lol. it’s your vision here, and i think you executed it very well. i have a feeling DP3 will make it a bit easier to figure out the best way to organize the earlier non-MCU movies as well, if it’s what it’s rumored to be.

It's kind of like an amalgam chronological and release order if that makes sense

Like you're not tied into one franchise for an extended amount of time. It's like you're flowing in and out of different continuities, but also kind of like how phase 1 before Avengers was. Although it is a little scrappy with how I have DoFP leading into the rest of the rebooted X-Men trilogy, it's also just set up that way to get those out of the way

Also the whole Spider-Man section starting with Far From Home to Across the Spider-Verse is really due to how they somehow tied them all in together one way or another

There could be a better way to do this but I look at this as a more dynamic viewing experience as you're not just watching these in a way that could tie into an eventual Secret Wars, you're watching how Marvel films evolved over time

🤔 i mean, while maybe it’s a bit too much to include all the cartoons & kids shows Marvel’s done over the years, XM97 is supposed to be a direct continuation of that, so 🤷🏻‍♂️

A couple table updates:

First the release list

• Madame Web releases this week so I removed it from the list
• Changed the old Deadpool 3 logo to the new Deadpool & Wolverine logo
• X-Men '97 has a tentative March window so I reflected that in the table

Now the watchlist order

• I forgot Deadpool 2 directly mentions the events of Logan so I added Logan in to be watched right before Deadpool 2, might move it to before Infinity War/Endgame tho I'm not sure yet
• Due to the updated MCU timeline released by Marvel, Loki Season 2 and What If...? Season 2 have their own blocks now
