Honestly was pretty solid, I had zero interest in an Agatha spinoff all the way up to release but the disconnect from the MCU up until the last few eps did a lot to help it stand on its own merit. I don’t think it’s reaching Loki levels but compared to s*** like Secret Invasion or more middling projects like She Hulk this is way better then it had any right being. It really reinforces that having a good show runner and developed story can do wonders for the quality. I also appreciated the two part finale in that overall it felt very conclusive. And they should definitely keep Jac Schaeffer around if they’re really making a Scarlet Witch movie
Show was solid tbh. I felt they could’ve done more with the finale, but I enjoyed it overall
You think Tommy is gonna pop up in YOUNG AVENGERS or VISION QUEST - https://fullcirclecinema.com/2021/08/02/leaked-audition-tape-spoilers-role-doctor-strange-2/
Vision show for sure being that it’s kind of being billed as a third part of the “WandaVision Trilogy”
Episode 8 was great, but I do feel like 9 didn't hold episode 8's momentum.
I liked the show overall, but do got some questions about the finale:
Why did she turn into a ghost? 'Educated guess' is not much of an explanation.
So, I take it that the flashback implied that she was killing witches due to a deal with Death? Killing in exchange for time for her son?
Then when Nicky did eventually die though, why did she continue killing innocent witches with fake Witches road ceremonies? Was it just out of spite? Resentment? I understand she took their power, but for what?
I felt like some things weren't really addressed.

You gotta do the lines for each paragraph
Lmao apperantly the ghost thing is basically the only comic accurate thing that happened in the show.
Correct me if Im wrong I got this off twitter
Agatha worth watching if i loved wandavision but thought finale was mid?
Show is basically the same quality as Wandavision except for episode 7 which is imo a cut above the rest
Actualy suprises me just how much of „more of the same“ this show turned out to be. Very much a Wandavision sequel but not a bad one

Pretty much lmao
I think it's a cool new thing introduced into the MCU but almost everything else is basically original
The funniest outcome of all this is that she has the white hair now and the comics recently changed Agatha to have the black hair with the white streak to closet match Kathryn's version

You know the thing that makes me sus about all this while its all fine and good in show atp if they actually bring the Wanda story for the cinema theyll basically have 3 shows, 3 Avengers Movie, 1 Dr Strange movie for people as a prerequisite to understand why theres a ghost and why she had a totally not her so lmaoo insane how messy the MCU has become
I guess there is something comic accurate about that too. Theres too much stuff going on on
Wanda will be an interesting case where she basically the only big hero they got that doesnt have some kind of origin movie

I think typically witches perform rituals and s\*\*\* together to maintain and grow their power, and it requires a coven.
However because her coven tried to kill her, she turned to draining other witches’ power instead of trusting them. This is all just a guess based off her conversation with Nicolas tho. And the fact she called Death “my love”, implying their relationship predated Nicolas and we didn’t see Death at all again until she came for him.

killing people to stay young is a witches trope if you ever seen Hocus Pocus they do it too lol. I don’t think it had anything to do with her deal with death. Her deal was just that she got a few years with her son before Death takes him. She continues to kill after his death to preserve her youth
Damn that’s really f***ing good
Adding Ghost Rider to Disney+ and putting it next to Agatha in the featured category with Jennifer Kale surviving the finale and being Johnny Blaze’s cousin. This setting up a possible Midnight Sons connection.
Coincidence? Yeah probably
Also just saying since there has never been an official designation of AOS not being canon (I still believe it is), Johnny Blaze already exists in the MCU
Was always gonna watch this off the strength of Kathryn Hahn but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Worth a watch for those on the fence
Crazy how “Who asked for this?” the show became one of Marvel’s best
we won
