People just need to get used to it. There’s always backlash when people first see a big change to a design

Cgi definitely needs refining but haven’t we learned by now that cgi is never done when these first trailers release?

  • Okay, I’m actually looking forward to this. I’m glad this movie actually made a visual choice and went with the retro futurist aesthetic. I’m still not sold on Pedro as Reed, but Vanessa Kirby is a vision as Sue.

I’m just glad that F4 and Superman both look good . It’s going to be a good Summer for comic book nerds

Aren’t people tired of seeing Pedro Pascal?

Yes. They should’ve kept Krasinski. Pedro is turning into the actor you cast when you can’t think of anyone interesting.

Honestly it’s very promising that the movie looks this good considering we’re still 5 months away from release . Marvel has PLENTY of time to work on this, the VFX artists should have enough time to finish cooking

I just love how they both seem to be leaning into Silver Age aesthetics. It's cool to see after the years of all these super modern designs for costumes and dull color palettes.

These are movies based on comic books. A medium known for bright and vibrant colors, goofy but charming costumes, and more lighthearted tones even in grave situations. It's like the creators remembered "Hey, maybe superheroes should actually be fun again."

  • jesus, this is a bad teaser

payton reed 20 years ago was trying to pitch a f4 movie and they definitely accidentally (lol?) took some of his juice

“I developed it for about a year and we went through some different permutations and some different writers, but yes, one of the big ideas was a set-in-the-’60s thing that at the time was structurally gonna be basically like The Beatles’ ‘A Hard Day’s Night,’ where we were not going to even deal with the origin story,” said Reed.

that’s kind, he was straight ass, but also the way they filmed it there were certain obstacles lol

  • Krasinski not being Reed was all I needed to hear to be in

  • I think the cast is great. perfect amount of star power and "newish" none household names.
