it ties everything together so nicely and with such heart that it's honestly impressive

might be better than the 1st if the 1st didn't have the unfair advantage of creating the formula

Very excited for this. I knew Gunn had to deliver. Still skeptical for Marvels future, the films we getting this and next year seem to be bs tbh

the work they did with the main animal cast was incredible, rocket in particular. I would go as far as saying it's the best vfx work of the mcu, movie was gorgeous and actually had a visual identity too. marvel needs to keep this standard at least for cgi going forward because some of the s*** in thor/wakanda forever/ant man was tragic

I’m not mad at that statement, it’s definitely up there for best of mcu for sure. It’s just so embarrassing for the rest of marvel films because it’s like… what was the other movies’ budgets going to??

The whole friend group loved it. Nailed everything you'd expect it to.
Felt like all Guardians got to shine in this one despite the focus being on Rocket. Def the best of the year so far for me.

he got a very streamlined production in all his movies n shows

its said a lot but bradley's voice acting as rocket is some of the most like full character embodiment transformative voice acting ive heard. i can NOT picture his face making that voice, there is 0 bradley cooper in that voice
