1. Wakanda Forever
2. Multiverse of Madness
3. Guardians Vol 3
4. Shang Chi
5. Eternals
6. No Way Home
7. Black Widow
8. Love and Thunder
haven't seen Quantumania yet
1. DS2: MoM
2. No Way Home
3. Shang Chi
4. Quantumania
5. Guardians Vol 3
6. Black Widow
7. Wakanda Forever
8. Love and Thunder
Haven’t seen Eternals
Guardians 3 definitely isn’t top tier MCU for me
I’d probably put it in like the B tier. Solid and really really good. But nothing amazing personally.
But with my ranking above, I know some movies like DS2: MoM and Quantumania being so high is a hot take

3. Shang Chi
4. Quantumania
5. Guardians Vol 3

My hot take would be how high I rank Black Widow compared to others but I have to rewatch a few of these before I do my ranking

What’s your ranking?
Personally I really like Black Widow. I know everyone thinks it’s one of the “bad” ones from the recent phases but I personally liked it
The only ones I didn’t like were Love and Thunder and Black Panther 2 is kinda boring IMO.
1. Guardians 3
2. Black Widow
3. No Way Home (definitely has higher highs than BW but that first act is a little shaky to me)
4. Wakanda Forever
5. Shang Chi
6. Love and Thunder
7. MoM (had higher hopes than Thor, that ending/credits scene really annoys me)
8. Eternals
9. Quantumania
1. Guardians 3
2. Black Widow
3. No Way Home (definitely has higher highs than BW but that first act is a little shaky to me)
4. Wakanda Forever
5. Shang Chi
6. Love and Thunder
7. MoM (had higher hopes than Thor, that ending/credits scene really annoys me)
8. Eternals
9. Quantumania
Mine is very close to this might just switch around a couple. I just wanna watch DS2 & Eternals one more time before I rank them
this movie is an instant classic imo
potentially better than endgame/infinity war and no way home
it really shows how important nailing the finale is and this movie does it f***ing perfectly
gives you everything you could ask for and more
simultaneously the darkest, funniest and most heartfelt mcu film to date and you really feel rewarded for sticking with this series from the start
this movie really brought me back to being young and watching the first film for the first time almost 10 years ago and you really realize GOTG is a nostalgic series now
it really highlights how ant man and thor fumbled their last movies with neither really feeling like conclusions, just the next episode or making the audience really feel how much time has passed since the start
In retrospect this was such a useless plot point
In an April interview with Rolling Stone, Gunn mentioned that he was surprised by the ending of Avengers: Endgame, which had Chris Hemsworth's Thor joining the Guardians. However, Gunn was not made aware of it, as "Marvel Studios chose to have that ending in editing" and how he "didn't think it was gonna be in there."
Such a change would have clashed with his already-written draft of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. At the time Gunn was rehired for the threequel, he had no idea what he was going to do, but Taika Waititi "took a bullet for him" resolving Thor's time with the Guardians in Thor: Love and Thunder.

russos probably watching that ending in the editing room thinking it was gonna pop off like:
only for the 2 directors connected to them wanting nothing to do with it at all

Still gave us that scene with Rocket and Thor which is one of thenmost tender in the whole franchise
1. Guardians 3
2. No Way Home
3. MoM
And that’s all I’ve seen lol
Anything else in phase 4 worth seeing?

In Thor 4?
Their interactions in Infinity War were great I meant having him leave with the Guardians was pointless
MOM was hot garbage
Haven’t seen WF
MOM s***s on two thirds of the MCU from any era. Easily the best of this phase.
In Thor 4?

Nah I meant IW when Thor is talking about his grief

Great chemistry with them but no need to have him go with them at the end of Endgame. It was just an inconvenience for Taika & Gunn

Tbh I thought Thor & the Guardians had nice chemistry and I was pretty excited for their crossover movie.
We’re probably better off with what we got though. At least on the Guardians side, Thor not so much…
