honestly it’s only a matter of time until we get the Team Red film with Daredevil & Deadpool which I can see happening in Spidey 5 so maybe he could show up then

This kind of a tangent but as much as I want never before seen Spidey villains on screen, I’m not mad at MCU with what they are doing/did with Spidey. Iron boy Jr. stuff never bothered me because they did what they were suppose to do. this Spidey is unique from the previous and has a whole world to interact & play with. They SHOULD have him explore as many relationships with different characters & in different scenarios as possible

Im thankful MCU gave us Iron Spider, Spider-Man in space, Spider-Man dealing with magic, multiverses etc. s*** we would’ve have NEVER seen without their involvement

Like bro we literally got this which is wild af & never thought I would ever see

1. Yes? Nobody official has said anything saying it’s not and nothing in the shows contradicts what’s happened in any of the films/Disney+ shows

2. This clip is from Daredevil which is fantastic. All 3 seasons. Punisher is pretty good too albeit a little slow at times. If you were to watch The Defenders shows I would do it in this order (also what I think of each season):

Daredevil S1 (Amazing)
Jessica Jones S1 (Great)
Daredevil S2 (Good, introduces Punisher)
Luke Cage S1 (First half great, second half decent)
Iron Fist S1 (Bad)
The Defenders (Decent)
The Punisher S1 (Good)
Jessica Jones S2 (Meh)
Luke Cage S2 (Decent)
Iron Fist S2 (Okay, vast improvement over S1)
Daredevil S3 (Incredible)
The Punisher S2 (Good)
Jessica Jones S3 (Good)

All these shows are on Disney+ now under The Defenders Saga so if you want to check them out they’re there

I’m not gonna get too into it, but I completely agree here, peoples criticisms basically amount to hes different than the others., TAS informed my head cannon of Spider-man so it’s funny to see people try & gatekeep with versions I don’t even consider definitive (there is no definitive) in this universe he’s not only spidey but the youngest professional superhero? the youngest avenger…his arc is insane

Yeah the most unique arch in the MCU no doubt. I like what you said about there being no definitive Spidey. This movie definitely kills that idea & rightfully so

whatever they decide to do with Spidey in the next trilogy I trust them but just keep him interacting with complimentary characters not because he needs to for a good story but because otherwise what’s the point of him being in the MCU

I agree to a degree, but spideys have prior knowledge of each villain & the machine in happys apt can make “anything” & they’re supposed geniuses
not enough to dis-suspend belief

marvel def made a judgment call to kinda steam roll through the how and why of everything just so they could get to the juicy stuff as quick as possible, and obviously it paid off lol. That said that first hour or so to get there is rocky af for that very reason lol
