i don’t mind because it’s clearly apart of his story and he will become his own person eventually but I get that it’s moving kind of slow

I think he will finally come into his own at the end of this film tho, getting mentored by tobey and Andrew and finally realizing truly what he can do seems like the plot here

I like the 2 movies. Just feel they never really let him fully be Spider-Man or it could be because of me seeing the Tobey & Andrew versions first.

I mean look at the ending of homecoming and ffh, he does it all by himself he's won his most important battles alone I think that's what matters but yeah I definitely think after this one he'll be one of the leading characters of the MCU

I just read classic Spider-Man like the og comics and Tom is a far cry from a regular 616 Peter. I get that the director and Feige got different visions but I just want a classic Spider-Man on screen and TASM series was more accurate than HC and FFH. Vulture and Mysterio costumes were the only good things.

Toms Spider-Man best reflects this generation tho. Those old Spider-Men lived in times with no cell phones or social media. Toms Spider-Man is filled with the same anxiety as most teens today. That's what marvel cares about over nostalgia for 616 Spider-Man.
