i don’t mind because it’s clearly apart of his story and he will become his own person eventually but I get that it’s moving kind of slow
I think he will finally come into his own at the end of this film tho, getting mentored by tobey and Andrew and finally realizing truly what he can do seems like the plot here

you don't think it's unfaithful to the character though? like, we definitely do not need to see uncle ben's death again but completely ignoring him just doesn't make sense to me tbh. uncle ben is an integral part to why peter is even spider-man

To be honest why bother using uncle Ben when u can do something unique and different and using Tony instead makes more sense in the MCU
