The strategy of revealing everything is smart actually. It’s gonna be a lot of nostalgia baiting and fan fic coming to major screen type s***
I think what people need to realize is that there will never come a time where Marvel is “back”, relative to what people would consider “back” to be for Marvel.
Of the 58 films to ever cross $1B at the worldwide box office, there are 25 different franchises that comprise that total. The MCU has 11 of the 58, almost 20% of the total, and more than double the franchise with the next highest figure (Star Wars with 5).
Star Wars has five billion dollar films across a 20 year span, from Phantom Menace in 1999 to Rise of Skywalker in 2019.
The MCU released 5 billion dollar films from February 2018 to July 2019.
Five billion dollar films in a 17-month span is completely abnormal.
(Not to mention the fact that films as a cultural event may have peaked in the late 2010s as well. From 2020 to now, a total of 10 billion dollar films have been released. In 2018 and 2019 combined, there were 14.)
How Marvel Studios captured the cultural zeitgeist in the late 2010s is an anomaly, and I doubt we see another film studio achieve the same success anytime soon.
What’s gonna do big numbers for them moving forward are their major characters and their crossover event films, which is a much more realistic outcome, and I think people just need to accept the fact that what they did in the 2010s most likely won’t ever be replicated ever again.
Video game movies are the big thing now
We got a classic trilogy, Tom fans been winning
Preaching to the choir fam
And we bout to get another
Goddamnit why tf they making she hulk canon
Why would it NOT be canon?
Ridiculed even further the hulk and his son like bro belonged to a comedy, the character is not sticking with audiences. People are tired of having to watch tv to undrrstand the movies, Marvel dropped their best movies in the last 5 years with Thunderbolts and F4 yet they didnt perform cuz people are tired of that shtick. Plus the fact that making everyone Hulk in that ending was ridiculous

1. Jen is allegedly showing up in Doomsday so yeah
2. Bruce was in like 2 episodes that show isn’t going to be homework, but watching it could more or less enhance the viewing experience but it won’t be necessary
3. They literally had Jen change the ending to Todd not becoming a Hulk in the show itself
4. The plot of “everyone becoming a Hulk and it bothers Bruce” doesn’t need to stem from She Hulk. It could stem from Cap 4 since that was the latest to happen.
Also think about Born Again. Matt had a 2 episode stint on She Hulk. Did those two episodes inform his character and where he was at the start of the show? A little bit yeah. Did you absolutely have to watch She Hulk to get what happened with Daredevil since Season 3? Not at all.
Same with Kingpin and Echo.
I don’t even like she hulk like that anyway lmao
