    Double Toasted review incoming

    Edit:

Better than sex, high full price, high matinee

only major complaints were the relationship between Punisher & Pete and the ending kinda silly for some people.

I think at the end of the day you still have to think for yourself whether reviewers unamiously say its good or bad. It doenst have to be hyperbole of doom posting or saying its the best thing ever. At this point its this week use the t mobile tuesday and see what you think or a list.

brother people we're talking about how since the director changed, it would mean this new spider-man movie would be good and not be plagued by the issues of the last 3

all the reviews say the biggest issue the movie has is that it still exists as part of the mcu and tries to set things up

that's my whole f***ing issue with mcu spider-man, so if a reviewer says it, i'm gonna believe them

Director changed but still same writers and still under MCU so its about recognizing within the given system only so much can or will change. Its kind of like a sports fan being a spider man fan. Because we find ourselves saying the next movie they will get it a bit more right each time its just reality.

at the end of the day i just want my favourite superhero to have good movies and not have to sacrifice compelling writing in favour of setting up potential cameos or crossovers

I get it man forming your own opinion about something can be really challenging

Best to just look at the reviews (or maybe just the ones that fit your preconceived narrative)

yeah, best believe if jon watts was directing this s*** i would not be checking in

part of me had faith that since the director changed, it would mean the movie would be better

I mean the difference here is there is too much money to be made in Sonys mind so the focus is still unfortunately the money. I dont think Sony will allow whats happening with the Batman to happen here besides with the spider verse series. Which to me is a really different high and sense of enjoyment.

I still think this will overall be better than Watts movies while also still having some issues from writing, mcu doing too much. But I think you got to look at it in a bit more positive light when even the negative reviews are mentioning it has a bit more soul then previously

this is literally indicative of a larger issue i have the mcu post endgame

nothing they make is good or compelling (besides thunderbolts, i liked that one)

based off their track record, and the reviews i'm seeing, i don't think i will love this (i just think it's okay)

See how you watched a movie for yourself and found out that you liked it even though you think the MCU had nothing good to offer

At the end of the day watch the movie for yourself first. While I get the concern and not buying into hype cycles on games , movies tv and music recently because journalist really do not reveal the truth anymore.

Reviewers should not be taken seriously. Far From Home has a 91% score on RT. A lot of critics turn their brains off when it comes to MCU Spider-Man. I can already tell all these films aren't going to age well. Hopefully this new one will change my mind but I'm not optimistic. I just want this to actually feel like Spider-Man for once
