I was thinking about connection insofar as direct relationship and how they end up sharing screen time through the movie with both action and dialogue

i can't get past people complaining about holland being plucky or annoying in the movies like reading a spiderman coming doesn't induce some of the same annoyance lol.

I still like oscorp existing more than attacking something related to iron man who could fight his own battle and wipe vulture out . Thats world building . Yes him being disgruntled about destruction of New York fine but there are so many spider man villain businessmen including kingpin who could take advantage of that

i agree with you in some regards because he's really accumulated them through his time in this role, but wish they displayed that rather than for example, making him so green with the damage control situation.

Out of all their movies and characters it’s spider man that consistently gets the most attached to it to push its other properties. Which would be one thing if it was executed great but the writing on Sadie parts in this leave a lot to be desired . Punisher okay dynamic want king pin . Hulk just give bro his own movie

Vulture just a junkyard crew cleaning up alien tech from the aftermath of the Avengers battle for money. Government comes in saying Stark claiming all of it for research so Vulture sets out to steal from the government the tech back. The big score (final confrontation) is stealing something from Stark tower

It’s so small scale Tony shows up multiple times in the movie and pays it no mind. It’s Spider-Man who’s seeing the alien tech being used on the streets and sets out to stop it from happening. The twist that Vulture is the father of his school crush and prom date is classic Spidey

partially because they view this stuff as chess pieces and sony owns it, they don;t wanna pay universal for the hulk rights... theres like competing interests...at least we have comics lol

Idk how Universal doesn’t see all this money Sony getting from Spider-Man and doesn’t at least try to work something out with Marvel for Hulk. Not that he’s as big of a draw but still decently popular

talking and thinking this through i think part of the feelings people have towards holland is a lack of acceptance that they don;t get to experience the "traditional" spiderman plotline parallel to the mcu run and they already got a taste of what that looked like. especially those of us old enough to have watch the others first. same with the norton hulk. so while this rendition takes some strong liberties that alter some things about the characters main struggles (secret identity, work life balance thats relatable) he still does a lot well as a spiderman!

He has the closest potential of any Marvel character more than Wolverine. I’d honestly say Hulk is the most recognizable comic book superhero behind the big three
