The introduction felt random not their relationship

Not really that random. He fits into the story pretty well and he’s street level just like Spider-Man

I felt the whole thing was very in line with other action/superhero movie relationships. Even down to the cliche “I saved your life in insert location here”

They did a similar thing with Budapest to establish history between Clint and Natasha. And SW: Ep 2 did the same thing to catch us up on the dynamic between Obi-Wan and Anakin after the time jump from Ep 1.

Felt that way more about the hulk.

Maybe I am again cold but MJ s*** occurring so soon again felt unearned. He 4 years later is obsessed with his high school girlfriend of what they been dating 2 years-3 . He told her his secret identity then wiped it and left her life. We see him just stalking her social media then a party then conveniently Jean puts the woman love interest in danger yet again. Feels like if they had photos together or something he kept. Something more than a note of "WE USED TO LOVE EACH OTHER I AM SPIDER MAN ". Maybe I am just cold but I feel like its such a boneless written romance especially considering the two actors are married in real life.

It was opposite for me. I think the movie got way better after the 2nd watch. The pacing didn't feel as bad and I got over the fact that Sony spoiled so much of the action scenes.

For real life reasons. I wasn’t simply touched by the movie

Marvel fans have kind of been trained that every major thing mentioned they have been shown or hinted at in some way shape or form. Also I think many of them wanted to see another Punisher Spider Man adventure. Spider Man cameoing on Punisher show would have them lit.
