First, Ms. Marvel in the comics was originally going to be a mutant before Marvel corporate (pre Fox merger) stepped in and made her an Inhuman because they didn’t own the film rights to the X-Men.

Second, Feige clearly does not like the Inhumans

I really want to see how they handle the humans vs mutants angle. Not just overall, but the language they use. Comics really show the different species aspect, so I hope they don’t shy away from it or tone it down.

While watching the animated series I found an idea they could use to introduce mutants to the MCU while differentiating why they’re hated vs other heroes aren’t

There’s a storyline in the comics & show where a government guy (Trank I think?) creates a disease that he claims came from mutants and can spread to humans. Unlike other superheroes in Marvel mutants have it in their genes to gain powers/mutations not a freak accident.

Ultimately, he fails in spreading the disease but the stigma that mutants can carry diseases remains and mutants are discriminated against. It could be a good starting point for the first X-Men movie so that they don’t have to reuse Magneto as the villain so soon (can still have him in it)

The whole plot is influenced by the aids pandemic at the time and can still be an allegory for that but also feel like it could tie into the most recent pandemic we went through where a certain race was blamed for starting a disease

  • lol wtf these xmen and prof x been doing while spiderman and dr strange f***in s*** up
