Gotta feeling the development for this film is going to really pick up in speed after Deadpool 3 drops

I think Marvel is trying to say the absolute least about the X-Men until we see the surprises in Deadpool and Wolverine

Tbh it can’t get any worse than Kinberg movies

Listen, as a big AC fan in general, that was probably the most disappointed in a movie I’ve been in when I first saw it

I think this movie is launching post Secret Wars

Hell might even be the first one out

I thought Hunger Games was solid. Longer than it needed to be + 3rd act felt like a different movie but it did a good job at conveying emotion and a compelling love story

Fan casting for this about to be rampant cause we don’t even know what the roster will look like

Damn just read the “it didn’t work” sentence

Had two x men related dreams recently

Lemme cook up a script for marvel

We could’ve got Jordan Peele being part of casting the MCU’s Storm the actress to go onto play her for years and years

But this is exciting that at least they’re looking at actual established talent who have bold styles and not tv/indie directors.

Would have been cool to get a genuine a list Megastar director in Peele to direct X-Men but I can see why it didn't work out.

Peele likes to direct and write his own stuff and Marvel already had a screenwriter attached.

Plus the MCU is a huge machine and wants their projects done in a certain way.

I mean look at what happened with Edgar Wright years ago when he clashed with Marvel over a C list character like Ant Man.

Imagine how overbearing and particular they're gonna be with X-Men

I think Peele will direct an IP based movie one day.

If he's having talks with Marvel of all places then nothing is off the table.

It might be something he wants complete creative control over though.

Like Greta Gerwig did with Barbie
