So many lazy and illogical ideas being thrown out when you can just recast the role, lol. We need to admit to ourselves that Marvel's initial decision was a knee jerk reaction based on emotion in the current moment.
Now that people have grieved and come to their senses, they are beginning to think more rationally.

If Robert Downey Jr. unfortunately passed away after the first Iron Man, would you recast or continue the story with no Tony Stark & Rhodes becoming Iron Man (like he did in the comics)?
