The two Spider-Man films Jon Watts directed has been so low on stakes and kinda forgettable. Not too excited to have him helm this.

But it's Marvel so I'm sure their tried and tested 'art by committee' framework will at least produce something half decent.

Jon Watts is fine if their going for the more family oriented stories. He worked well with the ensemble in the Spider-Man films

jon watts is fine i just wanted someone different. they were doing good hiring out of the box with names like chloe zhao, nia dacosta and sam raimi. was hopping for the same here. but i guess they just wanna finally make a good f4 movie and not risk it
