The first game was probably my best ever gaming experience so it was a painful 5 year wait.

I’m like 17 hours in and I don’t think I’m anywhere near the end

But everyone saying they 100%ing the game in 20-25 hours, does the story speed up that much towards the end? I just did the mission where the foundation gets destroyed while they’re trying to make the serum

Also I’ve done most the side quests you can do to this point , besides the mysterio stuff

it does unfortunately, you can also check the exact percentage of your story completion before launching the game in the PS5 menu where it shows game progress

they could have def expanded and let Peter have the symbiote for a bit longer. Everything that happens after that also feels a bit rushed

Story is just full of wasted potential.

Gameplay is soooo good that it makes up for it

Oof that’s unfortunate, I really love the game and the story but it sucks they rush the end

I’m glad you’re saying that about the symbiote because now I have even more reason to finish all the side quests I can while I still have it

Sony probably rushed tf out of this and they had to cut corners

But they both look polished with great gameplay loop so people kinda let it slide

Thoughts on general and where I'd like things to go

1. Def needs a break, we don't need a #3 in the next 3 years real talk. Don't oversaturate Insomniac, give us Wolverine, hopefully they got a new IP. Don't just be the Marvel studio.

2. Hopefully Carnage is the next one, he should be the main villain, let Green Goblin kill Peter that's cool that's what happens in the comics.

3. Miles had the better Suits in this, his final suit is awful, but Peter's are pretty boring and run of the mill. Casual wear spiderman costumes go crazy fr.

4. Miles is OP as f***, there's really barely any reason to play as Peter besides the missions that they make you.

Peter with the symbiote is way more fun to play with than Miles tbh. I’d argue more OP too.

The robot spider arms are trash tho

The symbiote is fun, but Miles s*** is just much better in general

He can go invisible, he gets healing and ability refill sparks, etc

As a character in general Miles is an OP ass spiderman he's got like three different types of powers in his arsenal

That three punch combo finisher in surge mode
