Exact same fights and feelings for me. Then the symbiote enemy group was introduced and so far all of their fights are a clutter and got me frustrated as well.

When that enemy group got introduced, the game went downhill for me. They were unbalanced af

Yep just finished the game and that was definitely the point where the game got repetitive and frustrating.

Fun game overall though, gameplay is great.

Playing the first game again to try to wrap up the Challenges and get enough tokens to buy the last suits

I honestly think it’s impossible to not give 2 at least 9/10 when considering how many QoL upgrades were made from then to now. I actually may prefer 1’s web swinging (purely just the swinging part of the traversing), but I think literally everything else was improved

They really make you overpowered in comparison to the normal enemies with the late game powers, and thought the response was to just make something even more ridiculous

The one good thing the first game had that I missed in this was the defense perk. The health and damage are nice, but you’re basically two sniper shots and dead on the hardest difficulty, and that stays the case for the entirety of the game lol

Those last two phases of that fight might have been the 2nd hardest fight of the game for me

Scream fight sucked just bc it was hard to do much in the way of comboing, so you couldn’t get much focus. She also had some combo where the second hit would be one of the unblockable/unparryables and I just never got the timing right on it

Lizard fight wasn’t hard per se, but the wall stuff was annoying

i said this and the mission i got is so crazy good

The gameplay is lightyears ahead of the first but the story is worse.

The game time for this was pretty good actually . If i don’t get new game plus soon imma rage but i liked the size they delivered on

Happy I’m in the end game though . I don’t think i could have enjoyed much more tbh , it seems to be stopping at a good time

The enemy when you gotta stealth

I’m on the lizard boss fight rn and I’ve loved the story so far, the only thing that’s sucked so far is the brutes only being beaten by parrying and I parry when it’s yellow and red but still get hit all the time s*** pisses me off

Kinda bummed the spiderverse miles suit doesn’t have the jordan 1s

the adidas stronghold on he insomniacverse is tough nike may as well not even exist

They should have gotten metro boomin on miles sound track side and James Blake on Peter. Also have miles living the lyrics of our fave songs but I digress
