Just because SM2 wasn’t perfect, doesn’t make it a bad game

This was a fire ass game

Though SM2 is definitely my least favorite of the 3, it’s still VERY HIGH quality

I bet all the leaks made them shift plans and that’s why there’s no dlc coming

Loved what was in the game but it did had this empty vibe. everything felt a bit cobbled together, rushed, scant etc. especially compared to the first.

even compared to MM which was an in between spin off which is odd. MM felt more complete, cohesive and jam packed somehow

And it also just didn’t really have the heart of the first? Felt a bit clinical and corporate (lol, I know it’s a marvel game) in comparison

But again i did love most of what’s in there. And I still see screenshots/clips of SM2 and have my mind blown that a real Spider-Man game can look like that

i liked sm2 story wise and thought it was the best spiderman story we’ve gotten in a long time…up until everything after venom shows up. gameplay and story both spiral

Tbf, a lot of games don't launch with NG+. The first Spiderman didn't, both recent GoWs didn't, Ghost of Tsushima didn't, The Witcher 3 didn't. And that's fine with me, most people not finishing a game soon after it launches. Allows a game to breathe and gives people a reason to come back

“Fire ass game” is much. It’s good if you ignore the s*** writing and characters. Really nice gameplay and traversal here. Everything else is liquid s***

I still like picking this game up to do some traversal every now and then

Sad there isn’t DLC but I’m hoping they shift some of it to the Venom spinoff
