It's a good game and I get why so many Spider-Man fans love it but no aspect of the gameplay or design really stood out for me in terms of innovation or execution. Tsushima is from around the same era and also doesn't do anything new per se but does a great job keeping the gameplay fun and story immersive that it's a joy to play in a way Spider-Man isn't. I am excited to see what Insomniac does with Wolverine though.

both spidey and miles f***ing suck to play more than once for me ngl. swinging was the most fun for me

only reason tsushima is a bit of a chore is cause you can't skip cutscenes, which is a stupid design choice

Ultimate Spider-Man still the best one (10/10) but PS4 still solid (8.5/10)

First play thru was classic though

Ultimate is too short and the combat is too weak to be good but visually speaking it is the best one

Yeah obvs the mechanics don’t hold up but for sure visually it was super ahead of its time

lol overtime at work so may wait to start a game that big til after. Currently deciding. Part of me wants to be there for a major story games launch and I don't have a switch so its tempting. But also Street Fighter VI I am going in when it launches. My Fightstick gets here Saturday.

and yeah between totk and street fighter I am chilling til spidey drops. final fantasy will probably be a winter experience, still wanna play it for sure they'll definitely be promoting this heavy after FF cause im assuming this is the next exclusive dropping

Hitbox Cross Up . Cause they sold out of the standard Hitbox and I want the lever option. Will be fun to play around with. Will never need to buy another fightstick again because will just use it on PC. I didn't want a situation where PS6 or overall sony could be like "this incompatible". I will like learning on it. Tekken, Street Fighter and other future fighting games will just learn.
