playing Sunset overdrive in preparation for this, might be contender for the best game with the most dogshit aesthetic I can't believe they made a 2010s hipster core game and stuck to it

It was over hated quite a degree from what I played but I need to play more
Maybe unpopular opinion
I hope the collectable part isn’t overdone in this game
It was horrible in the first one and only made it more annoying on how repetitive it became 2-3 different types of collectables
Hoping we get some hands on previews of the game soon considering it comes out in a little over a month.

The side content in the first one just isn’t fun for the most part. Insomniac’s Spider-Man has been around for 8 years, and the most you get from his rogues gallery are Screwball, Tombstone and Taskmaster. The Arkham games excelled of giving exciting villains and much more interesting side content because they contributed to Arkham Batman’s history. You kinda get some of that history of this Spider-Man through the collectibles, but it isn’t enough or like I said, fun.
Hell, even Arkham Knight (a game I have very strong feelings about) delivered much more in the Riddler stuff alone than any piece of side content or DLC that Spider-Man had.
The first game is still a fun, entertaining, enjoyable time. I’m not looking for anything groundbreaking about the second game, but if they want to step it up, it’s gotta start with the side content.

As far as popular opinions go
I feel opposite, I loved Arkham Knight alot
Spiderman was a bit empty and devoid of creative content similar to Tsushima

Knight is a very great game, I can’t lie about that. My issues with it lie with the main story and the DLC for the most part.
I haven’t played Tsushima, but I hear a lot on here that it’s kind of just…empty feeling. I hear the same thing about Horizon alot

It’s a 5/10 with the feel/atmosphere of a masterpiece
In reality it’s like some Ubisoft game
