I’d be surprised if they ended up making this and didn’t do an adaptation of the game’s story in some way

Big draw for this will be getting the fans of the game to see their favorite characters. Yeah players choice will be taken away but it would keep fans on their toes on who gets killed off

They’re spending money to acquire rights it’s much easier to use established characters of the game vs trying to come up with new ones to compete with the fan favorites of the game

Mass Effect fans like deep cut characters mane, I do think the Anderson backstory as a show would work as a fan of the property. The bits we do gleam of it are interesting to me at least.

Idk to me some game adaptions make sense following the main story but others build these huge worlds, find some other s*** to show or talk about

This is entirely true. I wish they would get to the point where a game would drop and a side story would drop as a series much closer though. Like while or before you play the game you could watch the series.
