The alien designs are too outlandish for live action imo. I'm sure they can make sure good models, but in motion I don't expect em to look all that good. Like it'll be Star Trek: Discovery tier, which was actually really good imo, but imagine Wrex? He'd need a full on muscle suit, it would look goofy as hell, and I don't want full CG, cause I don't think they'll have the proper budget, and time to execute it.
