mentalcase420this was pretty good...HOWEVER...the effort they put into never showing Jordan's face or having him talk throughout the whole movie became distracting and pretty annoying for me...you got numerous characters who look like they're basically talking to a wall because you never see Jordan's reactions or anything to what's being said...I get that they wanted the focus to be on the mom negotiating with Nike but damn this is like if they made a Batman movie but it was just about designing his suit and you see Bruce just walking around in the background blurred out while Alfred and Lucious go back and forth about the suit lol
I thought Damon and the rest of the cast was great and there was some fun dialogue and great music selection...but that one creative decision was just whack to me
Ya the proposal scene where Jordan doesn’t even turn around to look at them kinda throws off the realism of it all can’t lie. It was a weird creative decision. They could’ve easily just shown him a few times without making him the sole focus of the film.
May 14, 2023PrinceAlexanderIt def is a simple and short story that we could’ve done without lol, it’s why I was interested in it but was never going to pay money to see it in theaters. This is the definition of a wait til it comes to streaming movie. It was a solid film tho.
Yea it’s definitely well made, well acted, well directed. Just was kinda like oh that’s it?
