I enjoyed it

Nothing too flashy but it had heart. It let the humor naturally nothing forced. I’d recommend to basketball fans and sneaker heads interested in learning about the history behind the shoe if you’re not into basketball or shoes you will probably find this to be boring

Damon’s monologue speech in the meeting was the stand out scene of the movie to me. Always nice to see Chris Tucker even if he didn’t get too much to do in this.

Soundtrack was a highlight

i think this movie deserves a lot more audience than it gets rn. maybe some streaming gonna pick it up later and people will start to recognise how actually good it is

It was originally supposed to go straight to streaming so the fact it’s even doing this good in it’s theatrical run is impressive

this was pretty good...HOWEVER...the effort they put into never showing Jordan's face or having him talk throughout the whole movie became distracting and pretty annoying for me...you got numerous characters who look like they're basically talking to a wall because you never see Jordan's reactions or anything to what's being said...I get that they wanted the focus to be on the mom negotiating with Nike but damn this is like if they made a Batman movie but it was just about designing his suit and you see Bruce just walking around in the background blurred out while Alfred and Lucious go back and forth about the suit lol

I thought Damon and the rest of the cast was great and there was some fun dialogue and great music selection...but that one creative decision was just whack to me

Loved this. Real straight forward story but loved it none the less

10min in and I'm already over this s***. And I love sports dramas. Love winning time. Love Bateman. But this s*** feels incredibly dumbed down and slow pace but s*** load of cuts

I never say this about movies and I did actually enjoy this, but I really don’t see why this had to be made. Like it’s a cool story you read a blurb about in your Apple News app but did it really need to be a feature film?

Ehhh I sound cynical, it just felt like such a short story. It’s not really about any singular character. Even Sonny isn’t really fleshed out. I mean I just don’t know how I’m supposed to react to watching this besides saying “wow that was a cool lil story” ok next!

future background movie to watch while doing laundry or sumn

It def is a simple and short story that we could’ve done without lol, it’s why I was interested in it but was never going to pay money to see it in theaters. This is the definition of a wait til it comes to streaming movie. It was a solid film tho.
