you are telling me it’s not a deep reflection on post 09/11 America , how we view Gods, wealth , power violence? That steals most of it plot and ideas from Watchmen ?Bvs had so much to say and wound up not saying anything. That alone is why we keep ragging on that movie.

I think a JL universe can work but these characters take more work to be more coherent together within the world
Like how does The Suicide Squad or even the s***ty Suicide Squad feel more distinct and fitting as a ensemble then the Justice League
They make sense in more down to earth settings but ppl keep feeling the need to put them in situations SAVING THE WORLD!!!! when they should be just dealing with Gotham criminal underworld lmao

Except superman there was waaay more committed to an idea. Superman couldve boiled him alive but was trying to play with him while also depowered. And he tried to talk him down
BvS Superman was at full power at the start and wasn't even trying to talk to Batman. Why didn't he fly him up in the sky and say his peace and make Bruce listen? He got hit by kryptonite like 3 times and finally decides to kill Bruce when he's at like 10% while snyder himself admitted that its a dumb match up
Why write it because it's iconic? America loves an underdog story but I need some good writing.

i dont know, but it suggests the movie is convoluted in some way - things need to be explained. a lot is thrown at the wall in hopes that something will stick. several main characters who need their backstories told.
to me, a good story should be able to be told in 2h30min MAX.

I'm not even mad at Batman beating Superman it's the moron-isms that get me. Superman only used heat on the turrets. No freeze breath. No scream. No xray vision. Hell just clap your hands
He never used more than one power at the same time except to fly to batman, pick him up and toss him just to fly at him again
