Control and Alan Wake are connected
Max Payne is theoretically connected as Alex Casey has the voice and likeness but isn’t officially retconned into the game
quantum break is connected in the same way max payne is too , similar characters but cant legally use their names
Finished max payne on the gba (played it on the miyoo mini+) in the excitement for these to be released
Might go back and play 3 again.. goat series
What is the remedy universe?
Remedy Universe goes Max Payne 1/2 > Alan Wake > Alan Wake: American Nightmare > Quantum Break > Control > Alan Wake 2
One of the best single player video game runs of all time
quantum break is connected in the same way max payne is too , similar characters but cant legally use their names
Haven't played Alan Wake 2 yet and was f***ing praying for a Jack Joyce/William Joyce/Paul Serene reference of some sort.
I don't even mind if they Alex Casey it.

DALE COOPER SMILEY TOO
Bro I'm so close to being done with the Remedy marathon. I just started Control, beat it twice before, but was always so worn out by the end that I wanted to save the DLC.
Problem is I forget all the mechanics and powers every time so I keep restarting to get to the DLC with fresh skills
Also after years of never having played American Nightmare I really appreciate it for giving us some sort of Dale Cooper stuck in the Black Lodge while Mr. C runs amuck ruining his life.
It felt like a giant homage to what we didn't get in between the s2 and OG s3 plans

i played control for the first time before alan wake 2 i was expecting to go through really quickly but it took me forever i had a great time but yeah that game felt long so i get why youre feeling burned by the end
its well worth playing before aw2 though and those DLCS have small details that are really important i dont understand how people say you can just skip control and still play alan wake 2 i would be so lost

That was my exact issue nail on the head both times.
And then I'm still early in it, just fixed the pumps and all and thinking last night "this is amazing but f*** I know how much is ahead of me and RIP when I hit the Anchor"
The anchor alone usually subtracts a good hour from my playthrough ngl I suck at that one
Wonder when this releases
alan wake 2 entered full production in august 2021 and released in october 2023 so the " full production " stage of their development looks to last like 2 years ish so this will probably release in 2026
