It being remade in a new engine seems pretty promising. I was sure it was gonna be another GTA Trilogy where they just took the old assets and optimized them for new hardware. It'll be nice to play the old Max Paynes with some newer features

Really hope Control 2 dives into the SCP aspect more. Control 1 isn’t a bad game, but the worst part about it was that all the other side oddities and weird s*** was more interesting than the main story

Probably a top 5 game of mine story was beautiful.

one of the few games I played in one sitting I could not put it down when it released. and it had such a beautiful case.

Finished max Payne 1 and 3 but could never get into 2 because of the control scheme

I remember it being hated just off the fact he was bald headed lol, plus these games don’t usually take place in the day and aren’t filled with a bunch of action set pieces every mission like 3 was. Still was a good game though

3 was different than 1-2 but still loved by many for the gameplay

In recent memory gta iv at launch was over hated .

I love MP3 its just the unskippable cutscences that made the replay value low.

in my internet bubble it was cause people felt like it was a big departure due to it not being a gritty NY Noir game. People hated the daytime/Brazil setting.

I didn't mind the setting change cause I only seen my cousin play the first two games.

Max Payne 3 is ass as an actual Max Payne game & is so unnecessary & off track.

Been so many years since i ever touched it but s*** feels like a side game at most. Such a weird direction & change to go for no reason.

And most people that like Payne 3 are just those that started with Payne 3 which says a lot too.
