Fair point but we’ll see if they hold on to that. Plus I think we’re reaching a point where streams are more important than sales and Cole and Kendrick numbers are gonna look bigger because more of their fans are buying CDs and vinyls but lowkey that won’t mean that more people are listening to them than Lil Baby
Cole and Kendrick won't produce CDs and vinyls in advance so billboard can count them and their sales are actually going to be lower
They might get plaques quicker overall once the physical albums are available but their first week numbers arent gonna be as good
Coi Laroi or Kid Leray?
which one y'all got? @Shockwave @Sleazy @Jerry_Seinfeld
Idk anything about these artists

DaBaby on a concept album
My biggest issue with Baby is he can spit and actually have the vision to make an extremely dope concept album. He just don’t like to focus which get in the way. Like on his song brothers keeper, it’s one of his dopest songs cause he’s speaking from the heart and you can hear the emotion, it’s just certain lines will make you scratch your head cause it’s so unrelated and irrelevant to what’s rapping about. He need to actually lock himself in the studio and take his time.
Can’t wait for the threads in June about how things will be different in July and August
OP said Drake was going to shift the zeitgeist like his last 3 albums didn't follow the same pattern and sounded almost exactly the same

coi on a real note i hope she does alright
I love Drake, and he's a GOAT for so many reasons, but he's clearly zoned in on the fast sustained 808s on melodic trap beats lane, which is THE style in rn. Kendrick has potential to do something game changing, but who knows. If he goes back to jazz or rock influenced songs, its not happening. J Cole could surprise us, but odds are its going to be a woke album with a mix of trap songs by the usual producers mixed with some more conscious beats.
TLDR: Nothing is being shifted by these guys. Someone new needs to come in and do it. Quote me if im wrong and one of them comes in with something mindblowing.
If Kanye drop would be cherry on top
I’m hoping that by August we get something cause that’s when the divorce is truly finalized
almost every mainstream release between 2018-20 sucked
This is just false lol

Just say you hate Drake. How the hell did his last 3 albums sound the same lmao
