You guys ever get in spells where you can't slow down enough to meditate?

I've been so busy that I'm finding it difficult to even slow down enough to do the things that let me slow down.

So I'm compensating and instead of resting "indulging". I need to change it fast, but it's such a difficult cycle to break.

    Any tips?

just gotta meditate on that feeling man. even if its in the whip on the way home in traffic or something. Just follow your breath for some minutes. Be aware of ur mind and what its doing

Yap, sadly most mindfulness apps aren't free... try smiling mind, it's open source with lots of programs you just gotta get passed the Australian accent.

    Meditation really GOAT

Its like i be feeling hella feelings but like they only last for a moment. Soon as i focus on my breath, body and surroundings, its like i become at peace wit my feelings. and then they just vanish. Then come back. then vanish. Ad infinitum, Like im sitting on the side of a river watching that s*** rush. or like im surfing like a pro the waves of my emotions

I still got mad work to do, but i came a LOONNGG way i used to have crazy anger issues.

Do it in the morning, right after you wake up. Like literally the first thing you do after you open your eyes

That’s perfectly fine, I would try not to tie any expectations to your sessions. Just invest in them fully, a month is incredible we’re all on the same journey, slowly but surely improving along the way and getting more in touch with our minds and who we are as a person
