I’m all for the whole protecting black women movement but it’s lowkey slowly turning into a anti black men wave which can be destructive for the community

The whole “ niggas ain’t s*** “ been a meme for years but deadass it’s starting to turn into a serious movement in which in turn is spawning anti black men narratives/propaganda which makes y’all look bad or worse.... it may cause a massive irreparable rift between us all

Most black women in real life aren’t like that at all. I only see that s*** on Twitter. My sisters for example would never say some of the foul s*** I see on Twitter

I agree that’s my whole thing. This nigga TORY LANEZ ain’t s***. Men who abuse women ain’t s*** etc. I think the whole black men ain’t s*** rhetoric is more harmful than good at opening a discussion

That's something I agree with you with. Like I totally understand the discussion, but don't start this up over f***in Tory Lanez 5'3 ass

Black men don't even have the means to oppress white women in any significant way

Much of white feminism has even been a direct backlash against black people (specifically black men) gaining more rights

so if a black man were to underpay a white woman would that not be a form of oppression?

Yeah but it’s still a harmful narrative, many black women may not believe it but what about those who are just outsiders unaware of the struggle in the communities?

What’s stop non blacks from believing this potential anti black men agenda if it becomes a serious threat ?

yes, not in regard to your race, skin color, religion, immigration history, or class

but because you, as a cis-man, benefit from sexism

she oppresses you in regard to all those other social groups

I’m sayin exactly this but everytime I bring it up Im a coon who dont wanna listen to black women for some reason

Like a lot of this movement against black men is justified to some extent since women do suffer but you can’t also ignore the fact that there’s a rising movement of self hate in black women that has taken this struggle as a gateway towards mainstream acceptance

You’re still going on about this ? Black men don’t benefit from patriarchy as much as white men

Black men can be sexist to white women all they want but they don’t have the resources or power to oppress white women

White women can literally weaponize their privilege and get black men locked up

Bro white women have a large pay gap advantage over black men and black men are the least likely of any male group outside of Indgenious men to be in high level positions at any corporation. This is a ridiculous hypothetical question.

    Bingo!

we have to be conscious of the other communities who have shown the ability to infiltrate these discussions and further the divide

it's nothing for a million russian bots to jump on twitter and start pushing this propaganda

this is still a relatively new phenomenon so we aren't thinking about the long term effects

we all benefit from some type of privilege, yes. some more than others

it's important that we acknowledge the ways we benefit from the evils of society in order to gain justice for all

This patriarchal society benefits white women before it even does black men though

Fam I'm on your side with this lol when it comes to black men and white women, much of that patriarchal society s*** goes out the window because racial dynamics between white people and black people supersedes the gender dynamics.

I agree I use to be full of the same hatred & even went through some self hatred as well

I think it’s the subconscious notion that many women believe all men are the center of their problems, I’ve seen this a lot in feminist rallies too

Yes men have a history oppressing, killing, raping & abusing women but it’s dangerous to paint all men as such
